Community Service

Community service is an important part of the Gulf Stream School experience. Through service, students learn to look beyond themselves, develop empathy and responsibility, and discover meaningful ways to contribute to their communities.

In keeping with Gulf Stream School’s commitment to Character and Participation, students are encouraged to become thoughtful, engaged members of both their local and global communities.

Programs change frequently, so the following is a sampling of other local and national community service initiatives where our students are involved:

• Beach Clean Up
• American Heart Association “Jump Rope for Heart”
• Holiday Toy Drive
• UNICEF
• Thanksgiving Food Drive
• St. Jude Children’s Hospital “Trike-a-Thon”
