Lower School Education

In our Lower School (Grades 1-4), your child enters a dynamic environment where depth of thinking and core mastery go hand-in-hand. We move beyond conventional elementary education to ensure your child builds the academic stamina and self-assurance required for the academic challenges of Middle School and beyond.

    The Lower School journey culminates in the 5th-grade stepping stone — a pivotal moment where your child transitions from  Elementary to Middle School. By the end of this year, your child possesses the independent thinking skills and intellectual curiosity required to thrive in a challenging 5-8th Grade curriculum that will prepare them for their choice of high school destination.

Prepared for Middle School

By the end of Grade 4, students have developed strong academic foundations, greater independence, and the confidence and curiosity to take on new challenges. These skills prepare them for a successful transition into Gulf Stream’s Middle School program and the next stage of their academic journey.
