Current CareerI am a Public Programs Associate at The Morgan Library & Museum in New York City. I create and put on all of the public programming for the Morgan Library & Museum in Manhattan, which includes symposia, films, and concerts. I've been fortunate enough to work with musicians like Phillip Glass and John Zorn, and authors such as Colm Tóibín and Fran Lebowitz.
How did your years at GSS benefit you in all of your post-graduate experiences and help make you who you are today?Mr. Winans was my homeroom teacher during my first year at GSS (fifth grade) when I was “the new kid,” and will always have a special place in my heart. I also really loved taking Latin classes with Ms. Voigt and Ms. Fiorile. I continued studying Latin through high school and it was so helpful when I started studying French and Italian, not to mention when doing the daily New York Times crossword puzzle!

Any special experiences, memories or quotes?
In sixth grade, I sang in front of the entire school for the first time and I will never forget how incredibly nervous I was. That was the first time I had ever performed for anyone other than my music teacher or my parents! I’ll never forget standing on that stage and hearing complete silence after I finished…and then a sudden roar of applause.
The community at Gulf Stream School has always been warm and embracing, and truly a wonderful place in which to grow. It was an incredible privilege to attend GSS!
An enormous shoutout as well to Ms. Abrams, who was not only a wonderful teacher but was so incredibly helpful when I was looking into high schools and beyond. Thank you for everything!
