How did your years at GSS benefit you in all of your post-graduate experiences and help make you who you are today?Gulf Stream School instilled in me a sense of confidence and open-mindedness, which I’m proud to carry with me to this day. The environment was incredibly welcoming and inviting, and I look back with appreciation for all the memories and friendships I made during my time there.
Who was your favorite teacher(s) and/or what was your favorite subject(s)?I remember Mrs. Ochs fondly! I joined GSS as a seasonal student and she made us feel right at home. She embraced my sensitivity and shyness as an asset rather than a weakness, which I will always be grateful for.
Any special experiences, memories or quotes? We brought our pet emu (Biscuit) to GSS one day during recess. The entire school chased after Biscuit in the lawn – definitely a memorable moment!
