Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten Physical Education Benefits
Physical activity has proven to be beneficial to students and their academic achievement. Physical education in the Pre-kindergarten Division emphasizes the exploration of movement, equipment, and body awareness. Our program provides an opportunity for social interaction, cooperative skills, and problem solving. The children use a variety of equipment such as bean bags, hula hoops, various balls, carpet squares, the parachute, and the earth ball.
Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten Physical Education Goals
In addition to physical skills, primary goals of the physical education program are the development of self-confidence and a positive self-image in each child as well as senses of sportsmanship, team work and fair play.
