Kindergarten Music

Kindergarten students attend music twice a week, where they further develop their understanding of pitch and rhythm; they add to their repertoire of songs; and they are introduced to basic musical notation for the first time.

Kindergarten Art

Kindergarten students also attend art classes twice each week. In these classes, they use a variety of techniques, including drawing, painting, collage, ceramics, and printing, in projects that often relate to topics of discussion in their classroom.

Kindergarten Theatre

In their once-weekly drama class, Kindergarten students use games and exercises to develop their cooperative skills as well as their comfort in front of a group, their listening skills, and their awareness of their own bodies in space.
