Endowed & restricted funds

A school’s endowment ensures that Gulf Stream School will be sustained well into the future.

A strong endowment…preserves our past…protects our future…provides for our faculty…allows greater access for all children to our educational programs…and forever strengthens Gulf Stream School’s ability to prepare young people for successful and meaningful lives.

Thank you to our generous Gulf Stream Family members.

A school’s endowment is its hidden strength. It ensures that the school will be sustained well into the future. In present terms, it helps minimize tuition increases that might otherwise be required as educational costs rise. The National Association of Independent Schools has developed guidelines for ensuring sound schools, not only in terms of academics, athletics, and character development, but also with regard to the fiscal underpinnings so essential in the support of independent schools across the nation.

Gulf Stream School has a healthy endowment thanks to the generosity of so many members of the Gulf Stream Family. Contributions to existing endowments are accepted regularly and added to the principal of the fund in accordance with the donors’ wishes. Naming opportunities are available for those interested in establishing an endowed fund to honor or memorialize a student, faculty member, or family member. For more information on how to establish an endowed fund for Gulf Stream School, please contact the Development Office at (561) 276-5225.
