An after school program (ASP) is offered for students in Grades One through Four, Monday - Thursday and students in PreK-4 and Kindergarten on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The classes run from the end of the Lower School day at 2:20 until the end of the Upper School day at 4:15. Each afternoon starts with about 35 minutes of recess for Grades One, and 35 minutes of study hall for Grades Two, Three and Four. Different classes are offered on different days with at least three offerings each day, and parents sign up in September and again in January for the classes their children would like to attend. Drop-ins are welcome, but class choice may be limited by space. Recent offerings have included Beach Day, Tennis, Ceramics, Painting, Dance, Outdoor Games, Mix It Up, Just Play, Lemonade Stand, Drama, and Build It. Students in Grades Five and Six often act as teachers' Happy Helpers during ASP classes.
